Mobile phone service provider company, Tigo Guatemala is going to launch its over the top service, Tigo One in Guatemala. Tigo One is a one-branded TV platform integrating both OTT and linear pay-TV services and offers content from providers such as HBO Go, YouTube, Fox, and Crackle, as well as thousands of VoD titles and smart digital video recording.
The launch of OTT service in Guatemala follows the pan-regional agreement, Tigo One had signed with entertainment technology firm TiVo last year. Tigo One TV had earlier released in Costa Rica and Colombia.
