Roku launches ad supported video streaming channel

Roku is introducing an ad supported streaming video channel that will be available on its platform.

The Roku Channel will be offered to viewers for free on the Roku platform. It will include films from Lionsgate, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), Sony Pictures Entertainment and Warner Brothers as well as content from channel publishers like Fandor, FilmRise, Nosey, OVGuide, Popcornflix, Vidmark and YuYu.
