Spotify, the Swedish streaming giant has come up with a new Android app that would allow users stream curated music station without frequent manual intervention. The service will be available without having to pay for a Spotify premium subscription.

The app is aimed to address the infinite choice problem which most audio streaming services face. As per the app description, the stations are set to offer some personalization as users listen to their favorite programs.

At this point, its difficult to say how much importance stations hold for Spotify as it is yet to arrive on several android devices including Pixel.

Currently, the app description reads, “When you have access to all the music in the world, finding the right thing to play can feel like a challenge. With Stations, you can listen immediately, and switching stations is simple and seamless — no searching or typing needed.”
