UK-based broadcasting company TalkTalk has announced plans to transform its TV platform and revolutionize its multiscreen offering by early 2018.
The company has plans to integrate set-top box viewing with the TalkTalk TV Store and the TalkTalk TV’s suite of mobile apps to create a new unified platform – TalkTalk TV.
TalkTalk TV will enhance its multi-screen viewing experience for customers with the new TalkTalk TV app. This will be available to users at no extra cost and will be supported on as many as four iOS or Android-enabled devices and on the web.
“We’re focused on offering a truly premium TV service at an unbeatable price. With the internet and mobile changing the way our customers watch TV, we’ve tailored our service to suit their evolving needs. We’ve streamlined TalkTalk TV to create a more integrated and seamless experience across devices, making it even easier for customers to watch the entertainment they love whether at home or on the go,” said Will Ennett, acting MD at TalkTalk TV.
