Virgin Trains launched a complimentary on-board entertainment service – The free app, Beam, giving customers access to an array of free entertainment through their own device.
The service, will offer films and TV shows updated on a monthly basis, as well as the latest issues of magazines.
To celebrate the launch, Virgin Trains has partnered with Independence Day: Resurgence, the sequel to Independence Day, with the original film available via Beam.
Patrick McCall, co-chairman for Virgin Trains, said, “The new Beam app will make our passengers’ journeys fly by, feeling like they’ve arrived at their destinations before they know it.”
