Xiaomi India has launched Mi Music and Mi Video streaming services in India. Mi Video brings together a bunch of live streaming services, including Sony LIV,  Hungama Play, and Voot.

Tech giant Xiaomi has teamed up with popular music streaming service Hungama to bring Mi Music to India. With this partnership, Mi Music users in India will get access to more than 10 Million freemium and high-quality tracks.

Manu Kumar Jain, Vice President, Xiaomi and Managing Director, Xiaomi India quoted, “With the launch of these two apps Mi Music and Mi Video, we hope to serve millions of Xiaomi smartphone users with a better user experience through enhanced Internet services.”

The new Mi Videos app has more than 500,000 hours of content with nearly 80 percent free of cost content. It has one-tap cast function, which users can switch while watching from phone to a smart TV, with support for Miracast and DLNA. The Chinese smartphone-maker is planning to add more content partners such as TVF, Sun NXT, Flickstree, Hotstar, Viu, Zee5 and Alt Balaji in the future.
