Playlists are an essential component of any Audio streaming service as they allow a platform owner to showcase and highlight tracks based on various parameters, like a music streaming service would want to add playlists for its listeners based on mood, genre, artists, band etc…

With Muvi’s playlist feature, you can now do exactly that! To start using the playlist feature, simply click on New Playlist and give a name to the playlist. You can add a cover image and description to the playlist as well. Upon creating the playlist, tracks can be added to the playlist by right-clicking on a track and selecting “Add to Playlist”. The playlist that had most recently been created appears in the list of playlists. Tracks can also be dragged and dropped into the playlist. Tracks can be removed from the playlist as well. Some other features include, deleting a playlist, following / unfollowing a playlist, finding a playlist with the search option by entering the name of the playlist.

Playlists also allow your listeners to create their own custom playlists! So in case a user wants to create and save a playlist for their personal preferences, they can do that in matter of just a few clicks! Auto Queue:

Add to Queue is one of the most used feature on any streaming platform, and keeping with the trend, Muvi is pleased to announce the addition of this feature on it’s OTT Platform.

Add to queue feature when enabled, will allow your users to add tracks to the listening queue and will be played next as per the queue order. This is a very simple yet effective feature that can come in handy to your listeners. The Queue feature lets your listeners play audio content one after the other automatically. This creates a temporary playlist so one can view songs added to the queue. These songs can be removed from the queue individually or by selecting all and removing all songs from the queue. Moreover, listeners have the ability to save the queue as a playlist. So when a song is played from an album where all songs in that album have been added to the queue, all songs in the album will be played automatically one after another.
