This year, FortSmith changed the format of the event and was showcasing the movies at a single physical location. So, the organizers wanted to showcase a set of films in multiple rooms at a fixed schedule. Since the screening schedule for each room was fixed, they wanted to explore an automated manner in which the films can be screened without installing any heavy and expensive equipment or hiring manpower. For them, content security was of utmost priority and concern as a lot of content screening at the film festival was not yet commercially released in the market.
