4K is on-demand at NAB 2016

With IPTV platforms growing everyday, 4K is the buzz word at NAB 2016.  According to a survey carried out by Frank N. Magid Associates, around 70% of connected TV owners feel interested in the new ATSC 3.0 standards and 60% of them are looking at 4K for their next TV. Also more than 50% of them want HDR option in that. The need for high resolution live and on-demand streaming content is higher than ever.

Robert Crawford, SVP for Frank N. Magid Associates says, “Our research shows that more than two-thirds of those surveyed believe the new standard will result in a better viewing experience because of bigger and better picture, more free channels, better audio quality, and enhanced interactivity.”
