Apple Inc may be ready to reveal their new music streaming service but that does not necessarily mean that the record label’s they are dealing with are equally as ready. Indeed, they are all still negotiating.
The labels, of course, want to get a larger chunk of the money that the streaming service will earn through user memberships. And they are arguing that the payout be higher than that of competitor Spotify Ltd. Both sides have been noted as wanting to finish the deal by June 8, which is the date of Apple’s next big developer’s event and the launch of it’s video on demand service.
