BT extends partnership with UKTV for enhanced selection of VOD shows

BT and UKTV announce new video on demand deal

UK telecom group, BT has announced a long term partnership with UKTV for enhancing catch-up VoD offering for its TV customers. UKTV has a vast portfolio of channels including Gold, W, Alibi, and Eden. with this deal, users can get access to UKTV’s pay channels on the BT TV service and more content will be available in HD via BT’s set top boxes and mobile apps.

Tony Singh, Content and Business Development Director for BT’s Consumer division was quoted as saying, “Our continued UKTV partnership allows us to keep giving our customers a brilliant range of entertainment, comedy, drama, and lifestyle channels. Our customers love those channels and can, uniquely to BT TV, combine them with services like Netflix, Amazon and NOW TV to give them the flexibility to view a wide range of fantastic content.”
