Comcast is testing YouTube app on X1 set-tops. It is still in the pilot testing stages and hasn’t launched a commercial OTT app on associated set-top boxes. Earlier there were announcements from Comcast that they would integrate with YouTube and would not only support YouTube and YouTube Red’s catalog but also be woven into search on X1 set-top boxes apart from supporting X1 voice remote.

Users can cast YouTube content to the TV using a smartphone additionally.
