Leading video streaming company, Criterion collection is all set to make its subscription based streaming service live in US and Canada. In an announcement, Criterion is reported to have struck a deal with WarnerMedia to launch The Criterion Channel in spring next year. FilmStruck, home to Criterion’s catalog of arthouse classics and streaming offshoot of Turner Classic movies will go off air on Nov. 29.

In a statement, Criterion quoted, “Today’s announcement ensures that fans will have access to these films from the Criterion Collection as well as films from WarnerMedia’s deep and extensive library in what will be a rich and curated experience, which will further expand the audience footprint for these classic and acclaimed movies.”
