According to a consumer survey report ‘Living with Digital China’ by Futuresource Consulting, most subscribers in China take at least two services at once. The survey was designed to reveal key trends in digital entertainment behavior, including connected device usage and digital service adoption, together with content and genre preferences.

The results point out that subscriptions to premium membership on the country’s major online streaming services are growing rapidly and most subscribers have been taking at least two services at once.

David Sidebottom, Principal Analyst at Futuresource Consulting said, “With no obvious primary viewing device, the variety of devices used to watch online video services is very fragmented. Smartphones, Smart TVs and viewing directly on a PC/Laptop are in particular being used by online video viewers.”
