Amazon has for the first time launched its own subscription video on demand library as part of its Prime service, curating content from partners including HBO and Showtime. The new service – Anime Strike is the only Amazon-created selection available for Amazon Prime members in the US via Amazon Channels.

The service is available for viewers to be subscribed at $4.99 per month, with an initial seven days free trial, includes no ads, and has a hefty library of anime hits including day-and-date releases from ongoing series’ such as “Scum’s Wish” and “Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga.”
