Facebook to Prioritize long-form Videos in Feeds

The social media giant Facebook is making yet another move to make online videos a central part of their content mix, with a change to its algorithm to prioritize long-form video clips in the News Feed of the users. Earlier the criterion was to rank rank videos that get most completion rate but the algorithms are now changing to making long-form on top.

Facebook is also working on ranking videos based on other criteria’s  such as if people are turning on the sound, and if they open the video in full screen.
