After going fully localized in Poland, Netflix now unveils its plans to a more localized version of its video streaming services in Turkey. Netflix said its new “truly Turkish service” will feature fully- Turkish content with localized language, user interface and Turkish currency payments.
The service will start at TRY 15.99 (€4.83) per month and feature a variety of Turkish TV shows and movies, in addition to Netflix’s original programming. “Turkish people are great storytellers with their hugely popular and internationally recognized Turkish dramas and Netflix aims to become one of its most vocal ambassadors,” said Netflix co-founder and CEO, Reed Hastings.
