Discovery and Hulu have signed a long-term deal stating two factors, one being Discovery channels will continue to broadcast on Hulu Live TV. The second is the transfer of Discovery’s popular content from Hulu’s video streaming platform to Discovery+.
While the growth for linear TV is declining, it yet remains a lucrative platform. The carriage deal aims to earn revenue from linear TV to help in the funding of new streaming services.
