Munich-based IPTV platform waipu.tv has introduced a new (Video-on-Demand) VoD platform that would begin with offering movies, kids’ programme, and cultural events.

The library would initially cover more than 20 movies from the areas of Christmas, thriller, drama, and comedy which have been sourced from Watch Movies – a popular YouTube channel in Germany.

Kids’ programmes are provided by My Animation Kids through Scopas Medien, one of the largest animated movies production companies in Germany.

The service will be free-of-charge, be based on an ad-supported viewing model, and be available to waipu.tv’s free version users as well.
