Finally, after all that buzz, Google introduces its dedicated music streaming service – YouTube Music in India. With both free and premium versions, YouTube Music is all set to battle out with the existing players of the music streaming market in India – Spotify, JioSaavn, Gaana, and Hungama.
The premium paid version of YouTube Music is offered for INR 99 per Month, and it includes a huge collection of albums, official songs, chartbusters, music videos, live performances, remixes, and covers.
Commenting on the launch, Google stated, “The days of jumping back and forth between multiple music apps and YouTube are over as YouTube Music enables you to listen, watch or discover music on the app”.
Along with the big entry into the Indian music streaming industry, Google also launched YouTube Originals for INR 129 per month. The premium video streaming service will allow users to access exclusive video contents on YouTube with ad-free, offline, and background play features.
