According to a recent survey of about 3,100 Netflix, Hulu consumers by Digitalsmiths, some 69.4% said they would prefer a free service inserted with some ads. And some 83.3% said they’re willing to watch one to four commercials in a 30-minute period.
Out of those not interested in commercials, 14.3% of them said, they are okay watchign a commercial if the content is personalized to their needs or viewing habits. The research also found out that some 78% of respondents said they desire an à la carte pay-TV and out of these same people, 75.8% would also use a free video streaming service.
