There has been talks on early adoption of 4K TVs worldwide, but 2016 was the year 4K actually hit the market. According to a new IHS study, shipments for the 4K TV have more than doubled in the US in Q3 2016, rising to over 3.3 million units as manufacturers and retailers push for holiday season sales.
During this holiday season, Black Friday shoppers will find 4K TV sets to be the least expensive, that too loaded with like never before features and larger screens. The North America 4K TV prices are expected to drop by 20% in Q4 2016 as compared to Q4 2015.
