CenturyLink, an OTT video on demand platform continues to gain the market share by further reaching to 500,000 homes in Denver with its Prism IPTV roll out from last year. The numbers may be a little less as compared to its largest competitor, Comcast but CenturyLink continues to reach 311,000 customers in the second quarter up from 258,000 in last year.
CenturyLink has added 16,900 new PrismTV customers in the second quarter, with nearly 150,000 addressable homes in all the areas, ending the quarter with over 3.3 million addressable homes. Prism TV is currently available through 19 Colorado communities and operates in Castle Rock, Columbine, Colorado Springs, Arapahoe, Douglas, Eagle, El Paso and Jefferson counties besides Denver.
