According to the regulator Arcep, France passed 5 million mark for super fast broadband subscribers in the third quarter of 2016. More than six out of 10 broadband subscriptions in the country now exceed 100Mbps speeds.
Since the beginning of 2015, super fast broadband subscriptions have increased by 1.2 million. Nationwide, broadband subscriptions currently hold 27.5 million French homes, which includes 19.1 million with access to OTT TV from their STBs.
