According to a recent study based on the examination of 100 top global pay-TV providers, The Pay TV market has shown a total quarterly increase of 3.45 million subs, up by 0.80% during third quarter of 2016. The survey showed that this increased is compared to the 3.74 million and an increase of 0.95% in the last year.

Across North, Central and South America there was a slight quarterly increase of 0.25 million subscribers with over six of the top 10 video streaming services lost subscribers in the quarter, which is down by 357,700 year-on-year.
