Pac-12 partners with Amazon for new OTT service

US college sport’s Pacific-12 Conference (Pac-12) is building its own OTT service as part of its strategic deal with ecommerce giant Amazon. Artificial Intelligence tools from Amazon Web Services are being used to develop the cloud-based solutions capable of understanding digital demand. The deal also includes creating of Video-on-demand content as well as OTT streaming services to deliver a more personalized viewing experience for the fans.

Mark Kramer, Vice president, Pac-12’s Engineering and Technology Department quoted, “The move will usher in a new era of entertainment for collegiate sports enthusiasts. We’ve chosen to go all-in on the world’s leading cloud to drive digital transformation across the entire organisation.”
