Shanghai will remain at no. 1 in China’s IPTV market as its user base hits 3 million by the end of 2016 according to researches. Shanghai already has 2 million IPTV users currently and the numbers are expected to reach at 3 million by the end of this year. New technologies such as Virtual Reality and new features in VOD services are expected to be added given the boom in industry.
The huge increase in user base will let telecoms launch smart home internet solutions such as high speed broadband services, hardware support solutions and security monitoring.
