Advanced Info Service (AIS) became the first ever mobile operator to commercially launch a video streaming platform in Thailand. AIS does this with an aim to heat up TV sector’s battle with over-the-top (OTT) platform providers.
The new OTT platform will be available to mobile as well as web desktop users at a monthly subscription fee ranging from 299-599 baht. AIS also aims to increase the country’s average revenue per fixed broadband user from 550 baht to 600 baht per month in this year.
