Zattoo expands to Asia Pacific with Singapore office

Zattoo TV Solutions has expanded its service in the Asia Pacific Region. Zatto is eyeing a strong and sustainable business in this part of the world while basing out of Singapore.

Zattoo has already expanded its business to the US in 2017 and has been providing its hosted and managed end-to-end TV solutions to telcos, cable, and mobile network operators for years and is now serving substantial numbers of B2B customers in Europe and the US.

Julian Hens, Senior Vice President for the Asia Pacific, quoted, “We have already been active in the Asia-Pacific region for some time and see tremendous opportunities in our hosted and managed OTT, TV Everywhere and VOD-as-a-service solutions. In autumn 2017, we came to the conclusion that in order to tap into this huge potential, we have to have ‘boots on the ground’ in Asia. Singapore is the ideal base for our expansion into the region.”

Recently, Zattoo has collaborated with 1&1, one of Germany’s largest broadband providers with 4.5 million customers under its belt and launched an end-to-end TV Everywhere platform.
