The recent study released by Parks Associates claims that 45% of Western Europe’s broadband households now have a smart TV. Germany is topping the chart with 50% customers having a Smart TV.

Europe has always served as an early market for new online video streaming services. Now, as a new trend of OTT video breaks across European markets, new opportunities for partnerships are opening up among OTT video services, Smart TV manufacturers, and Pay-TV providers.
