BBC has tied up with British Telecom to provide new age video broadcasting services. The deal includes all broadcasting channels, local radio stations, and BBC’s channel partners. The new network will carry data, audio, video streaming, and even fixed landline services. Ultra HD (4K), 360 degrees content and other video streaming services are expected to come up on this new network. This all new network will go live by April 2017. The deal, valued at 100 million pounds is expected to help save BBC a lot of expenses. The deal has been signed on for 7 years, and be extended by three more by BBC.
