Amazon is going all throttle for its India expansion, where the OTT video streaming platform is teaming up with Bollywood giants to showcase popular flicks on its platform and rightly invade the Asia’s third-largest economy. The soon-to-be-launched Amazon Prime Video will feature original movies and series, along with premium shows and movies from Indian and global providers.
Amazon has launched its Prime membership in 100 cities in India with one or two day Amazon delivery benefits. Amazon’s biggest deal so far looks like Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, which will allow the platform to host several of Drama movies, along with their upcoming flicks.
