Sweden-based mobile app specialist Toca Boca launches a subscription video streaming service named as Toca TV in 150 countries across globe, featuring original and curated short-form videos. The service caters to 5-9 year old kids, specifically, families with iPad tablets.
The company has collaborated with 75 content creators and companies to create content for the service to be debuted first in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The service will be available for $4.99 in the US, £4.49 (US$5.69) in the UK and SEK55 (US$6.39) in Sweden. Content partners for the service are Freedom!, DreamWorksTV, Awesomeness TV, Studio 71, and BroadbandTV to name some.
