Eurochannel and Elisa Viihde have inked a deal which will see Finnish people have access to more than 70 exclusive premium European movies and TV series.

Gustavo Vainstein, the CEO, Eurochannel, quoted, “In our constant expansion across Europe, we are thrilled to start offering Eurochannel in Finland for the first time thanks to Elisa, the country’s leading telecom operator. Now, Elisa Viihde subscribers can enjoy the exclusive and premium movies and TV series of Eurochannel. This new partnership allows us to step for the first time in the Scandinavian market.”

The news has arrived amidst Elisa’s cable TV subsidiary Tampereen Tietoverkko merging into its corporate body and according to Mika Lepistö, Head of sports and pay-TV.
