As e-Sports is gaining popularity among a larger audience and the market is projected to reach $1.6 billion by 2021, a young and passionate gaming lover from Egypt, creates a platform – Gbarena, to support the e-gaming community that primarily involves game players, event organizers, and sponsors.
Mainly, Gbarena is an online community that connects players with tournament organizers as well as industry-sponsors at one-click. On the platform, users can manage their registration, tournament announcements & updates, event scheduling, and match result analysis.
This is for the first time an online game streaming platform is being introduced in the Middle-East region for the e-gamers.
Sameer Wagdy, Creator of Gbarena, said, “In Egypt, we have a community of e-gamers that spends a little amount of money, but very important in number. Last year, for example, we spent $ 2 million, which is a very huge amount of money for the country”.
