Hulu chief Mike Hopkins has revealed that live sports, entertainment and news will be available on their streaming network in early 2017. According to the Wall Street Journal, Disney, Fox, ESPN, FX are expected to come up on Hulu. The video-on-demand veteran will have an upper hand in negotiating with TV providers. Networks too would be interested in signing up with Hulu’s live streaming service as cord cutters would be able to access that. Hulu is determined to compete with Netflix by bringing in documentaries too.
