Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Audiovisual Media (GCAM) and Malaysian OTT service iflix have inked a MOU that will see the latter providing support to Saudi talents by helping the company find local producers, directors, actors, and writers in the field of audiovisual media.

The deal is in line with Saudi Arabia’s vision 2030 mission to create a thriving media and entertainment sector in the kingdom. Saudi Arabian talents will be provided with iflix’s huge OTT platform to develop, promote, and distribute their work. Since its launch in June 2017, iflix has quickly expanded its footprint across the Middle East and North Africa.
