In an effort to boost the visibility of Spanish sports, La Liga – the official organizing body of the Spanish Football League system, launches its own OTT service for free. With the launch, La Liga becomes the first major European League to deploy its own OTT platform.
As per reports, LaLigaSportsTV will be available via mobile phones, tablets, Samsung Smart TVs and other supported devices. The sports streaming service is supposed to include every segment of Spanish sports, but not any live broadcastings.
However, Spanish viewers will have an option to stream live broadcasts from Segunda Division at a monthly subscription of €2.99 or €14.99 per year.
