According to a study by Hub Research, television is still preferred by many over other devices to watch shows. Between the ages of 16-64 having a broadband connection, it was revealed that TV was accessed for at least 5 hours per week. 72% of them said that they used a television set to watch, which includes Smart TVs, Blu-ray players, Roku, Chromecast and other devices. 70% of those surveyed said they watch on a computer. Online shows are most watched on a computer than a TV. TV saw a growth in viewership, while computers, tablets, smartphone viewers saw a decline. Netflix(83%) and Hulu(70%) are primarily viewed on a connected TV. In short, cord cutting users too prefer a large screen TV.
