Facebook live streaming via the camera option is currently in testing phase. This will let users go live from the social media platform from Facebook camera option instead of using the ‘Live’ option on the status update box.

Additionally, users can record live audio and create GIFs as well. It is currently in the pilot phase and hasn’t yet been fully rolled out.

Facebook’s Live Audio feature with the growing popularity of podcasts is designed for publishers and authors who use it for things like news radio-like shows, book readings, and other audio-only broadcasts.
Users also have the option of going live in their Facebook Story, if they don’t wish to share the clip as a regular Facebook post. Additionally, users can share the video or audio clip as a Facebook story as well as a live update at the same time.
