According to reports, more people are willing to stream live video content than ever before. Around 47% of live streaming video viewers worldwide are likely to stream live video compared to the year 2017. As many as 44% watch less TV as a result of live streaming content provided by video streaming platforms such as Facebook, Hulu, Amazon Prime and the NCAA.
The report also states that more than half of live streaming video viewers are watching content through social media platforms. 43% of viewers in the US are more likely to live stream to watch a live video through digital streaming subscriptions, as compared to those of worldwide viewers (41%).
