According to a global forecast 2021, on video on demand for hospitality market by solution (Pay TV, IPTV, and OTT), the VOD in hospitality market is expected to grow to USD 19.11 billion by 2021 from that of USD 6.89 billion in 2016 at a CAGR of 22.6%.
The ability of OTT to be able to integrate easily with various means of broadcast such as VOD, audio and video is driving further growth in the VOD market. The report also stated that APAC is the highest growing region and will also experience some growth in Pay TV due to the extensive adoption of technology such as smart TVs.
