The African video on demand market has a huge potential as reported by us earlier. Now, Miabox has started taking in pre-orders for its VOD and online TV services in Ivory Coast. Like other services, it will be available on web, mobile apps, and other mobile operator platforms. It will have local content from African nations like Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, South Africa and Kenya. It will also have American and French movies. They are starting with 50 TV channels and 5000 hours of movies and TV series, and intend to spread to other nations of the continent and also to parts of Europe.
