A free Over the Top (OTT) service aimed at mobile devices and short-video content has been introduced by Globo for adventure and sports network Canal OFF.
This platform is in addition to Canal OFF Play and Globosat Play which is Globo’s main OTT service that streams Canal OFF’s live and selected Video on Demand (VOD content)
It has been launched for Android and iOS platforms and is meant for short videos of anywhere between 15 seconds to 2 minutes in length.
A catalogue of almost 700 short videos have also been released with the platform specifically for the app and not for broadcast on the pay-TV channel. Moreover content will be updated daily.
