UK-based media company Perform Group will launch a multiscreen OTT subscription service for sports fans in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in summer 2016.
Dubbed All sports, one platform, DAZN will offer European football, US sports like NBA and NFL, tennis, handball, ice-hockey, darts and other sports live and on-demand for a monthly fee.
The web-video rights of the Bundesliga which Perform Group recently acquired will, as expected, become the flagship: From the 2017/18 season, DAZN will screen the highlights of all games of the first and second division Bundesliga 40 minutes after the final whistle.
