The Foxtel/Network 7 joint venture Presto Entertainment has agreed content deals with HBO and Showtime for its new Australian subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service. HBO hit TV shows The Sopranos, Entourage, The Wire, True Blood and Boardwalk Empire, along with Girls, Veep, Band of Brothers and The Pacific, will be available exclusively via online streaming platform in 2015.  Australian SVOD rights to Showtime series’ Dexter, The Borgias, Californication, Deadwood, and Ray Donovan have also been acquired by Presto.
