Repetitive untargeted ads not liked by many 21 March 2016

According to the recent Nielsen survey, video-on-demand services having ads are growing. But consumers aren’t exactly happy with untargeted ads. Though a majority of them are of the opinion that they would like to watch free VOD content in lieu of ads, it is the repetitive ads that makes a bad user experience overall. Among the young (15-34 age group), nearly 50% of all viewers watch video-on-demand content every day. Targeted ads using data could be a good solution to this.
