Spotify, the global music streaming giant, is testing a new storytelling feature called Storyline, similar to those of insta-stories and Facebook stories, where artists can share their thoughts as well as quotes and can interact better with the audiences.
The new Storyline feature is now under-testing and is mainly designed for artists only. Some popular artists including Billie Eilish and The Jonas Brothers have tested the feature and witnessed enormous love & engagements from their listeners.
Right now, the feature is restricted to US and Netherland audience, but hopefully, if it works out, Spotify may release the Storyline concept soon to its global audience.
