Administrative body for association football in Europe, UEFA is working on developing its over the top service to place content and competitions outside of its flagship Europa League club and Champions League competitions.

Guy-Laurent Epstein, Marketing Director of Football’s European Governing Body quoted, “The OTT platform is not ready yet, but we are building our own OTT platform to really go beyond the current content. We do not want to compete with TV channels, but to take advantage of the wide range of content we have, such as summaries, delayed games, backstage pictures, and women’s and grassroots competitions, whose broadcasters generally do not have the same visibility as the men’s tournaments.”
