Universal Pictures and Warner Bros studios are making efforts to offer premium movie downloads for $30 to $50 each in collaboration with Comcast and Apple.

As per Bloomberg, newly released movies are to be offered via this service.

A new strategy for monetizing live action and animated Disney and Pixar films after their theatrical runs is going to be adopted by Disney.

It will be a branded video streaming service not just for newly released movies but also for exclusive, original series and movies.

As per a report, studios could begin to offer digital downloads of films in as less as two weeks after their theatrical release.
